The Dells Mill and The Dells Mill Museum

The Dells Mill was built in 1864 during the American Civil War

The current owners of the Mill is the Clark family- Gus Clark is a civil war buff and traveled to civil war battlefields in a covered wagon in the 1970's

The Dells Mill and Dells Mill Museum is known internationally as a historic property and has been included on international tour itineraries.  It is listed on the American National Historic Registery

Photos of the mill are available in Europe as a cell phone screen wallpaper

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources tried to make the owner drain the Dells Pond because of the Dells Mill Pond Dam's age.  The Clark family sued to keep the water in the pond and won

The Dells Mill Pond is great for fishing - Pan fish, Perch, Sun Fish and Bass are plentiful

The Mill is listed by the Wisconsin Film Office site as a great small town location
